Stop scale, spots, and soap film

Water Softeners and Conditioners for Hard Florida Water

Treat hardness minerals so scale stops building inside pipes, heaters, and appliances.

The problem this addresses

Hardness minerals leave white crust on aerators, cloudy spots on glassware, and a stubborn film in showers. Inside the plumbing, the same minerals deposit as scale on heating elements and narrow the flow path over time.

How the solution works

  • We measure hardness in grains per gallon during the on-site test.
  • A softener exchanges hardness minerals for sodium or potassium in a resin bed.
  • A metered control regenerates based on actual water use rather than a fixed timer.
  • Salt-free conditioners are an alternative where the goal is scale control without an exchange process.

When this service makes sense

  • · Visible white scale on fixtures, shower glass, or kettles
  • · Soap and detergent that will not lather properly
  • · Water heaters or dishwashers replaced sooner than expected
  • · Private wells or municipal supplies with high measured hardness

What you can expect

Less scale forming inside pipes and water heaters
Noticeably less soap and detergent needed
Cleaner glassware and easier-to-clean shower surfaces
Efficient, demand-based regeneration

Water treatment addresses specific measured parameters. We do not make medical or health guarantees about treated water.

Frequently asked questions

Will softened water taste salty?
No. Ion exchange adds a small amount of sodium relative to the hardness removed; it is not perceptible as a salty taste for most people.
What is the difference between a softener and a conditioner?
A softener removes hardness minerals through ion exchange. A conditioner alters how those minerals behave so they are less likely to deposit as scale, without removing them.
How often will I add salt?
It depends on hardness and household water use. We calculate an estimate at install so you know what to expect.
